This is Daisy and Crockett. Crockett is the Rottweiler and Daisy is the Lab. We've had Crockett for a few years now and Daisy joined our family last August. You can see what good friends they are!
Oh they are sooo cute! Rotties are really great dogs, if you train them well. Our mechanic has a really old one named Maryjane, and she's a sweetie...as long as she's not on duty.
Babooshka, yes, Rottweilers have a bad rap here in the US. They fall into the wrong hands and are taught to be mean/aggressive. Same with Pit Bulls. We've owned Rottweilers for over 20 years now and love the breed. They have always been so sweet, protective, but big lap dogs! Crockett runs Daisy off when she starts chasing the twins and they can't get away from her!
I'm a dog lover also, I had a Chow Chow before we moved to Iowa, had to leave it with my grandson. It has since died, of old age. I now have a toy poodle, he is 8 years old, and the best little buddy my husband could have, they go everywhere together.
Oh my, I realized too late, that you are in GA. And I always sign my name, in the Southern way, in Southern blogs! {Ladies of a certain age are called 'Miss' in a loving way, in the South, I mean}
Being up here, I can't get these *dad-burned Yankees* to refer to me this way, though. -pout- :-)
Happy dogs. Best buds. MB
ReplyDeleteGreat buddies!
ReplyDeleteSaw you have identical twins. That's cute.
I have twins, bu not identical.
ils sont beaux tout les deux, mais Crockett est impressionnant.
ReplyDeletethey are beautiful while both, but Crockett is impressive.

ReplyDeleteI love dogs but I can't have any dog as I live in an apartment on the 8th floor. Your dogs are very beautiful and they look intelligent.
ReplyDeleteThey look like friends. They look like they are both happy.
ReplyDeleteTwo very photogenic dogs. Are these type of dogs considered dangerous in the U.S.? They have a mixed reputation in the UK. Excellent guard
ReplyDeletedogs though

They look real cute together.
ReplyDeleteAwww...I can't believe you caught them just sitting there! That Daisy...she's a playful thing!
ReplyDeleteI've actually been doing a little research on some dogs, just in case, we decide to get one. You just never know...
Miss you!
Great looking pooches. Crockett and Daisy. I guess if you were old enough and a fan of Miami Vice you could have named Daisy "Tubbs."
ReplyDeleteThey look almost human with their expressions! They are clearly very close!
