Team Work
Yesterday with the temps around 80, we decided to head to the lake at Ft. Yargo, which I've mentioned
HERE
Ft. Yargo is the closest place to swim from our house so we spend alot of time there in the summer.
The water, still too cold for me, was just fine for the kids. Braden and Dalton decided to warm up a bit and build sand castles.
After swimming for a couple of hours, we went up to the picnic table and grilled hamburgers.
And a bonus picture of Braden just because when he wears goggles, it always makes me smile!
Have a wonderful day!

de quoi nous faire rêver, la plage,la mer, cela doit être agréable.
ReplyDeleteOtherwise we do dream, the beach, sea, it should be fun.
Looks like everyone there was having fun. It was warm here, had to mow.
ReplyDeleteNice! We did things like this when I was a kid.
ReplyDeleteI could have sworn those were my sons :) Lovely pictures
ReplyDeleteI can't even imagine living where you do! You are so lucky to have *that* within easy driving distance. Ohio has a lot to offer, but proximity to beaches is not one of them! Lake Erie is gross--the bacterial counts are frequently way too high to allow safe swimming, and the beaches we have encountered are basically just black fly draws. Ouch! It looks like you had a great day.
ReplyDeleteFun! Cute kid too.
ReplyDeleteMy daughter used to have a pair of goggles she loved to wear and called them her go-go goggles.
ReplyDeleteLOL! Fun pictures, thanks for the memories! :-D
It made me smile, too! :)
ReplyDeleteLooks like a gorgeous day out. And grilled burgers - an added bonus!
ReplyDeleteFun to be out at the beach. To be a child again and carefree.
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice day you had with your boys!
ReplyDeleteI remember my kids swimming in the pool just after it was opened for the season and the water was barely 50 degrees.
ReplyDeleteLooks like such fun! I must admit to smiling at the goggles too!
ReplyDeleteWhat sweet photos...I miss my boys being little...
ReplyDeleteYour kid is well inspired to protect his eyes, as many sand grains seem to remain on his face after his outdoor works. Hope you had a nice time on the beach.
