Who can resist delicious country cooking from the
Cracker Barrel on a cold, grey, wintry day? Well, evidentally I can because I just ran in to check out the gift shop, but had it been meal time, look out, I coulda put a hurtin' on that place! Yum!
Sorry for the poor quality. I took it from my vehicle after getting back in my car and warmed up and realizing I didn't have a photo for today but was too cold to step back outside, lol.
I'd love to go to your Christmas Parade and then in this restaurant with you, Tanya!
ReplyDeleteGolly Tanya, looks like a mighty fine place to eat alright! - Dave
ReplyDeleteI LOVE cracker Barrel! I always order the Veggie platter. i do eat meat but I just want all of the yummy sidedishes!
ReplyDeleteI forgot to say how this young demoiselle is cute with her Christmas hat!
ReplyDeleteIt really loooks cold! I understand why you didn't want to step out of the car... :-)
ReplyDeleteI love the Cracker Barrel, but its been a while since I have been to one. They have this warm apple side dish that is awesome.
ReplyDeletej'aime bien ce type de gourmandise, pour le plaisir de grignoter. Mais je ne connais que ceux au Cheddar, je sais pas si il en existe d'autre.
ReplyDeleteI like well this type of greed, for the pleasure of gnawing. But I know only those in Cheddar, I know not so there is other one there.
I love Cracker Barrell, and I'm very impressed with how clean your windshield is!
ReplyDeleteWe have one of those grey days here today and country cooking does sound like what will be good, except it will have to be from this ole country cook here(me).
ReplyDeleteI love Cracker Barrel but the nearest one is 50 miles away.
and the picture was just fine too.
Have a great day
Pam
I have never actually been to a Cracker Barrel. Is it one of those breakfast-y type places? I love those!
ReplyDeleteLove their gift shop, but they sure dump a truck load of salt on their food. It has been cold lately but will be near 60 today.. go figure.. how odd for December.

I always enjoy their gift shops too! I don't blame you for wanting to stay in the car - it's been unbearably cold up here this week!!
ReplyDeleteI clicked on the link and what I saw made me hungry :-)
ReplyDeleteWe just got a Cracker Barrel here but we haven't gone in yet. The place is packed with people every day so they must have something good.
ReplyDeleteThis photo prompts me to squirm and whine, "Are we there yet?" Cracker Barrel and Stuckey's, the ol' vacation standbys. And since dad was a farmer, our vacations were always during the winter, when there weren't any fields to fret over, so Cracker Barrel is also associated in my mind with road salt and gray skies. :o)
ReplyDeleteI like to look at the things in the gift shop. Once found a cute purse and a cute little change purse to match.
ReplyDeleteI love Cracker Barrel! Brrr, your photos really show how cold it is there.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE Cracker Barrel, but alas, they don't have one west of Boise. I even wrote to the company and told them we have nothing even close like it and it would be such a success. The other place we always frequent several times when we are back east if Bob Evans. Do you have one of those?
ReplyDeleteI love Cracker Barrel restaurants and would never cook if one was near me!
ReplyDeleteStaying warm. Glad you got your priorities right! Its been so cold here its not fun anymore!
ReplyDeleteI've never been in a Cracker Barrel but I hear they're great.

ReplyDeleteAdorable mom-daughter photo.
ReplyDeleteAh, good ol' comfort food - great any time or season but esp. when it's so nippy outside.
we have a lot of stuff in NY, but nothing like Cracker Barrel. Like Andy Griffith used to say..."mmmm. good cracker!"
ReplyDeleteoh man, I had breakfast at Cracker Barrel two weeks ago, and I still feel full - but I'd go back for seconds. hee
