Toys For Tots
Saturday afternoon Ashlyn and I had to take a trip to WalMart so she could pick up some things for a project she is working on. While there, the Marine Corps had their
Toys For Tots drive going on. We give to this charity every Christmas so it was really nice that they were there by chance!
Excuse Ashlyn's reflection in the windshield. The place was a madhouse so I couldn't pull over for a picture or we'd risk being run over!

This is such a great charity. I always have such fun picking out toys. My daughter at 3 is really starting to get the concept of giving to those in need. I have to keep her from trying to give her own toys away!
ReplyDeletec'est une bonne idée pour une bonne cause, l'esprit de noël
ReplyDeleteit's a good idea for a good cause, the spirit of Christmas
Looks like they have a nice haul. Great idea to be out in front of walmart. They should have done that here.
ReplyDeleteGreat cause and especially needed this year. No excuses for the reflection, I think it is kind of cool to put something unexpected in a photo; sort of like Alfred Hitchcock always putting himself in a brief cameo in all his pictures.
ReplyDeleteWonderful charity. They can use lots of toys this year with this economy.
ReplyDeleteI love these toy drives...really puts the season in the spirit of giving.
ReplyDeleteWe have our own version of this with collection points all over. In fact collecting at the supermarkets is a good idea: the soup kitchen charities do that. They hand out a list of needed items to shoppers who give as much or as they can. It's good to know that what you give is not going to waste..
ReplyDeleteThis is suc a great idea and there should be more of it about everywhere. Well done to all.
ReplyDeleteOur USMC guys have been downtown with the TV folks all week collecting toys. It's raining, seems like for the first time in two years, so drive by toy drop off is all the thing.
ReplyDeleteWho can resist giving to such a great cause?
ReplyDeleteA wonderful charity! I know they make little children happy!!
