Wow they went to a lot of trouble decorating that hay! Reminds me of some of the things the avid FSU fans do around here during football season. My mom is a huge Bulldog fan.
That is very cool, great picture. My Colorado relatives are here visiting along with Montana and Texas so we have lots of teams to shout about. I'm adding Georgia!!
I love intrastate rivalries, especially when they're within a household ... though, I can't imagine there are any hay bales decorated with competing UCLA and USC logos! haha
I took that same photo at Jeter Farm when they had it painted for the fall season. We took our grandsons there for the hayride and walked through the maze in the cornfield... The Jeters are such nice people and we will be going back next fall for another hayride. Besides, they're only 5 minutes away from our house.
Hay bales - that's a new one! Around here lots of people fly little (or even not-so-little) Tech or Virginia flags from their houses, mailboxes, car antennae... I'm always very careful to be neutral, just like the Jeters there.
Hey! nice colorful hay. I know some engineers who went to Virginia Tech, so I pick that one.
ReplyDeleteThis is really cool!

ReplyDeleteTanya, it's downright cold here in SD! BRRR!
I don't know about the teams but I know I like the cute painted hay bales.
ReplyDeleteThe Jeters are astute business people - they know better than to alienate one fan or the other!

ReplyDeleteSports-wise, I'd have to put my money on UVA.
ReplyDeleteDifferent, nice and surprising! (I'm neutral when it comes to the choice of university! :-))
ReplyDeleteOhh! That's wonderfully creative!
ReplyDeleteGeorgia has a quaterback from the Dallas area. I kinda root for them, depends on who they were playing. LOL.
ReplyDeleteVery creative way to show their support of both teams!
