Corner of Catawba and 220
Nothing "charming" about this but I wanted to show you the view from here. I've shown you this barn before right here. It used to be an antiques shop before I moved here. On this particular evening, a couple of weeks ago, I had just picked Christian up from work and it was such a pretty night. I decided to check out the view from a medical building that sits up on the hill. I hadn't ever driven up there before. It was one of those evenings that you just want to drive around with the windows down. Behind that barn sits Bahama Sno Shack. They have super yummy shaved ice that hits the spot in the summer. That won't be long now!

ReplyDeleteThe light is really pretty, I love the pinks and blues. Hot days and snow cones, now that sounds good!
ReplyDeletePretty shot, Tanya! Can't wait for snow cone weather!
ReplyDeleteNice! And I absolutely love your header photo! By the way, we were in Roanoke a couple years ago for the first time. I wanted to stay. I thought it was about the most beautiful place - except for NW Wisconsin in May, of course. :-) But you live in such a gorgeous part of the country! Thanks for stopping in at Cranberry Morning to see my barn photo.
ReplyDeleteA charming sunse though!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful sky! Love the blues and purples. Can wait for snow cone weather.
ReplyDeleteMaybe because we were talking about horror movies last night at work, but that big black blob right in the center at the bottom makes me think of the original Blob movie....and that black blob is fixing to eat up the town. eeerrrie music playing!
