And this little leprechaun was selling merchandise for the band, Madrone (yesterday's post). You can see the Hotel Roanoke in the back ground.
Today is a 2 for 1:
Do you recognize this sleepy little fella? Ha, yes, it's the same guy in the first picture, only from the St. Patrick's Day Festival last year. Poor guy, he must have been wiped out when we found him sound asleep in the booth!

That's what I look like at 2 a.m. while I'm trying to finish reading all the blogs in my reading list!!! I know the feeling!
ReplyDeleteI wish we had real St Patrick's events here... Then I'd be like him!
ReplyDeleteThis is a great thing, that this man is again running in two years in front of your camera...
ReplyDeleteEgbert
I never knew Leprachauns slept wonder where he hid the pot of gold:) B
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photographs, fantasy scenes. I am greeting
ReplyDeleteCool that you caught him both working and sleeping. :)
ReplyDeletePoor guy! He is pooped. Great capture.
ReplyDeletehey, no doubt that is hard work being a hawker!
ReplyDeleteMaybe the guy had a wee bit too much green beer? ;-)
ReplyDeleteI love this guy!
ReplyDeleteHe has lots of time to rest up before March 17th next year comes around again!
ReplyDeleteFun that you caught him sleeping.
ReplyDeleteThat second photo is so sweet! I imagine it's tiring work to stand in the sun, on pavement, in a crowd all day, trying to sell stuff. Glad he could find a place to catch some zzz's. He's looking a lot peppier in this year's photo and I hope he had a prosperous day. Looks like everyone enjoyed lovely weather for the St. Patricks' Day Festival!
ReplyDeleteHe was probably just resting his eyes...HA HA
ReplyDeleteI bet the little leprechaun slept well that night. Yes we lived in San Diego for many years. No, I don't miss it either but I have been back for a couple of visits and enjoyed it.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great capture tho eh? Hihihi
ReplyDeleteYes, it has been exhausted by the party, delicious photos.
ReplyDeleteI feel his exhaustion! Nice post.
ReplyDeleteI didn't realize St. Patrick's Day involved such hard work.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if he sold alot of his merchandise that day? :)
ReplyDeleteSweet. He must have been very tired.
ReplyDeleteGreat shots. How funny that you got the same guy twice!
ReplyDeletePerfect pair of photos. Love the setting and THAT sunshine :).
ReplyDeleteYes, live can become a challenge and sleep much deserved. May all his dreams become reality.
ReplyDeleteMust be a tiring job.
ReplyDeletePoor guy! He must have been up late putting pots of gold, at the end of rainbows!
ReplyDeleteOh no! Even leprechauns need rest, I guess!
ReplyDeleteI imagine working any market stall must be exhausting!
ReplyDeleteNeck beads can weigh a person down over time.
ReplyDeleteNOT his 'lucky' day I guess.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a fun street fair!
ReplyDeleteLooks like he had a little too much green beer!
ReplyDeleteOh hilarious, I love the contrast! Yup, agree with Greener Pastures...green beer might've been involved:)
