Not really a mural but a photo curtain? It caught my attention as we were walking through The Greenbrier. I tried to find out who the couple is. Probably should have read that plaque that is to the right. Oh well.

Did I miss something? What is The Greenbrier? Great couch.
ReplyDeletethe greenbrier is a fancy schmancy resort in wv where the saints had their training camp :)
DeleteTanya they could be King Edward VIII and Wallis Simpson.. then again might not be :)
ReplyDeletehow interesting! :)
ReplyDeleteThe whole thing sits together perfectly!
ReplyDeleteThat is really unique!
ReplyDeleteThat is certainly different. I've never seen a photo curtain, but it works here!
ReplyDeleteThis is totally cool and I would love to have my picture taken in front of it. Our kids go to the Greenbrier about once a year and they love it. Even our little granddaughter likes it, she likes having their teas.
ReplyDeleteTotally fits the scene... Very interesting "photo curtain". Had not heard of this before... You blogger friends are so unique!
ReplyDeleteThat is a very different kind of canvas, yes. Oh well, we don't always think to look at the plaque.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like Edward VIII of Great Britain who abdicated his throne to marry Mrs. Simpson, the lady by his side later to become the Duke and Duchess of Windsor.
ReplyDeleteIt does look like a mural at first glance. Rather cool!
ReplyDeleteGrace and Denise have it. Edward and Wallis Simpson.
ReplyDeleteThat's a great curtain, nice shot.
ReplyDeleteThat's cool. I would love to make one.
ReplyDeleteWell, The Duke and Duchess of Windsor were frequent guests at the Greenbrier, so your commenters may have that right.
ReplyDeleteThat's an unusual curtain! I wonder how old it is? Or is this a new trend? It looks sheer. I've never seen a photo curtain before.
ReplyDeleteThe curtain makes the Duke and Duchess of Windsor look like ghostly apparitions. Interesting way to harken back to the resort's history. After reading the dress requirements I realized I no longer have the wardrobe required to meet the dress code. Sigh. Thanks, Tanya, for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.
ReplyDeleteOriginal display of this lovely portrait.
ReplyDeleteIt looks very cool with that bench!
ReplyDeleteThey got it right. Amazing how they put curtain behind the couch.
