Lewisburg was cool in 2011. 1 year of coolness? It was a pretty cool little town though. I think it should be cool in 2014 too.
You see these in small towns everywhere
That's kind of a fence right? Fence-ish? This little barricade protects us from the players getting too close to the fans. Or maybe the other way around...Do you see my 3 guys?
My view of the boys from the other side of the field. Nick and I were sitting in the bleachers so I zoomed in to see what they were up to. Texting or something. Always with the phone.

I live in a small town and this looks soooo familiar...even though I'm in Canada. :)
ReplyDeleteI love that they were at least cool for one year. SO cute.
ReplyDeleteYep, kids and their phones....same story here!
No kidding, it's all about the phone. I notice that young people are constantly in contact with their friends, letting them know their every move. LOL
ReplyDeleteI wonder if any other towns will argue about the claim that it is "the coolest little town?"
ReplyDeletei like that 'coolest' declaration. :)
ReplyDeleteSaints' practice. How cool! But why Lewisburg?
ReplyDeleteThey are now having their part of their training camp at the greenbrier but you have to park at the fair grounds in lewisburg and they shuttle you over! the saints are back home now though!
DeleteLove the long lens for shots like this Tanya :)
ReplyDeleteThis town is indeed totally COOL! I see your boys! I agree, this is the best kind of fence, friendly and not shutting out.
ReplyDeleteFun photos! And fun to zoom in on your boys to see what they were doing. That's what moms do :)
ReplyDeleteIt's a cool idea to have a cool town contest!
ReplyDeleteI haven't been there in close to 30 years, it was a hot town when I was there.
ReplyDeleteYou just made me think that small towns here are usually 'villages'. I love that contest idea :).
ReplyDeleteI was pretty cool in 2011, too, but I have gone to seed since then . . .
ReplyDeleteGreat shots from your corner of the world.

Who says how long the coolness lasts? Once cool, always cool. :-)
ReplyDeleteYou see very similar collections of banners like that in small towns here as well. Terrific shots!
ReplyDeleteCoolest small town! What a great distinction! Glad you liked my Willy Nilly Fri Five...will definitely be joining in next week! Take care!
ReplyDelete"Coolest small town," I love it.
ReplyDeleteI like those small town signs, don't see much of them any more.
ReplyDeleteI don't like all the signs in the countryside
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos! Wonderful light in the first!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing all the pictures of such a cool small town!
