ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite Gary Larson two-panel cartoons has in the first panel titled "what the owner says" an owner is talking to his dog: "Nice dog Ginger. You've been a good dog Ginger. Do you want to go for a walk Ginger?". In the 2nd panel titled "what the dog hears" we see: "blah blah blah Ginger blah blah blah Ginger blah blah blah Ginger?"

ReplyDeleteSpeaking of Larson, one of my favorite panels has a dog leading a cat to the clothes dryer entrance with a sign that reads "Cat fud" with an arrow. Hilarious... if ya love kitties. Dogs are notorious bad spellers, I guess. hahahahahaha

ReplyDeleteI love this quote, and I love Dave Berry! He is so funny, and I miss his weekly column in the paper. There are a lot of porch dogs around here, too. Barking commences if you even slow your car down...
