Downtown Roanoke
I took this photo back in December 2014 during the Dickens of a Christmas parade. You might remember it, you might not, no biggie! Anyways, a few days ago I was contacted by Orvis about an outlet opening up here and will actually be the only outlet in Virginia, lucky us! They asked me if I'd like to share the news and I said "sure, why not?!" So here's the details for those who live nearby:

I will have to check that out as I have never been in Orvis even though I have fly fished for years. Maybe they will have some fly tying materials as I plan on teaching my daughter how to cast and we might loose a few in trees.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a good addition to the community.
ReplyDeleteThat's a shop we don't see here, though we have plenty of counterparts.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a great outlet/store to have around your neck of the woods!
ReplyDeleteSounds exciting! I had never heard of this company before.
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of Orvis, but I guess I know what brand you'll be sporting soon! ;-)
ReplyDeleteI have bought things from Orris for years. All of their merchandise is high quality. Is the store still up there beside the parking garage in downtown Roanoke. I never went out to the outlet store, but I will have to now. Keep me posted on the slave quarters.
