A Day In Barra de Potosi Or Was It Playa Blanca?

I'm not really sure which beach this was. Nick kept calling it Barra de Potosi but then when I just googled it to get the spelling it also listed Playa Blanca. We drove down a long dirt road to get there so I'm thinking Playa Blanca...not that you really care lol

Restaurants in the US should have hammocks!

I'm about to attack that grub...I think I ordered shrimp here...

Tortilla magic is happening in that little building!

Ok, now heading back out, down the dirt road:
Goat crossing!

dos cabra ;)

mas cabra! ;)

A hot and dusty way to travel! Interesting the way so many people there ride in the back of trucks like this...

Linking up with Tex's Good Fences

  3. Oh reminds me of our Jeep Safari in Jamaica. Little stops along the road, marijuana plants everywhere, even on the front porch. And yes goats too. Great blog for today.

  4. I love that fence behind the goat. And getting to see YOU! Also those boats on dry land with the contrast of the brown sand and the bright blue sky. Did you not get food poisoning from the water or anything?

    1. we were very careful with water. only drank bottled and used bottled for brushing our teeth/rinsing off our toothbrushes...anything bottled like beer/coke you have to wipe the top off really well...how sad to not have clean drinking water!

  5. My first to see hammocks in restaurants. Very different and unique. Probably for siesta time. On trips to Mexico, we saw a lot of trucks like this on dirt roads.
