ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful and I'm glad its been preserved! Reminds me of the story of 'Christy' in the Appalachians back then. Loved that account of the mountain people.

ReplyDeleteReminds me of the one room schoolhouse still in operation in Corolla, North Carolina. I wonder what Hurricane Matthew did to it.
