A lot of personality in that small town
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful week-end!
...I love 'Here comes the train!'
ReplyDeleteI love these scenes. Much like my small town and so full of Americana.
ReplyDeleteThe houses are cute. And yes, I see a butterfly too. Moose? I was thinking it said Moore. No? Who knows??
ReplyDeleteI see a bat, not a butterfly. That last shot particularly suits me.
ReplyDeleteSecond week in a row I tried to link in and I can't!!! :-( But I'm here, and I enjoyed your post! Loved the photo of the train from the ruined wall. Hope you are having a great week! Glad you enjoyed the Ft. Vancouver Hudson Bay Co. post so much!
ReplyDeleteI see the butterfly!! My very favorite here is the oncoming train framed by the bricks on one side. It is so artistic! I love this SO much. Can I have your permission to print it and display it somewhere in home? My uncle worked on a train, and growing up we always ran out of the house when a train came by at the end f the street. We would wave, in case he was on the train. He died very young and left several young children. So trains are both wonderful and mournful to me.
ReplyDeleteWell thank you and I wouldn't mind in the least!
DeleteAnd that is sad about your Uncle 😢
DeleteI think the train shot is amazing as well and I love the old houses, so old fashioned and homey looking! I do see the butterfly! Hope your new year is off to a great start!
ReplyDeleteThat first shot brings back all sorts of memories and yearnings. I've lived in that kind of a house and I'd love to do so again but that is not going to happen so I've made my peace with it. I also love that last shot; excellent composition and very interesting.
ReplyDeleteI got curious and looked up Spec on Mapquest. Love the train shot.
ReplyDeleteGreat set of photos. I saw the butterfly too & that train shot is awesome.
ReplyDeleteExcellent series of Willy Nilly's Tanya.. I love trains and I love arches so you guessed it, that last shot rules! ☺
