May Theme Day - Numbers

This is my boy's bus that I am following out of the school parking lot. We were headed to Athens to see "Horton Hears a Who" yesterday. I mentioned on Monday that we were going, but I was incorrect and we weren't going till Wednesday (yesterday). The children had to ride in the bus and parents had to follow.

(I didn't register in time to participate with the numbers theme so I don't have any links)

  1. j'adore les cars jaunes scolaires américains, ils font partis de notre imaginaire en France, quand on pense aux USA.

I love cars yellow American school, they are part of our imagination in France, when you think the USA.

  3. Big yellow school bus, makes me think America straight away. I love this as a choice, it's an iconic symbol, aswell as the number theme.

  4. Hey, regarding your comment on the San Diego navy picture, the Kitty Hawk is in Hong Kong harbor right now for part of its final voyage. I've put one picture up and have a post bubbling in my head after taking tons of shots of sailors on shore leave last night. Look for it soon on commutingtohongkong.blogspot.com if you're interested.

  6. How curious that the parents had to follow in cars! What about fuel conservation?

  7. Funny, I didn't know that a yellow school bus was an American icon! I just figured everyone had them!

Jim, yes, the movie was good! It was our second time to see it and it was just as funny the second time around!

Tour Guide, I know, you would think we'd be trying to conserve. I was going to car pool with my neighbor but I had to have my own vehicle to be sure I got back home in time for my older son's dentist appt. But every parent went in their own vehicle, and no one rode together, weird! I also wanted to just take my boys home after the trip but they weren't allowed to ride with me! Strange huh?!
