Yesterday morning when I took Braden and Dalton to school it started snowing! And it was actually sticking! This is taken from the drop off lane at their school from the comfort of my vehicle. Looks like big soap flakes! All the excitement over the snow was short lived though and it melted within the next hour or two.

a little of snow for Braden and Dalton
ReplyDeletea good week end with yhe mother
There are places where you must act quickly if you want to catch photos of the snow - like in Paris.
ReplyDeleteHave a nice weekend, with or without snow!
Here it's very cold (for us, of course...), but no snow.
ReplyDeleteWell, at this very moment I've just heard on tv it's snowing in the top north of the country.
HA HA, sounds like the snow storms we get around here. We dont normally get our until Feb though.
ReplyDeleteYes... the snow was here and gone... poof. *sighs

ah, but I love the way you capture those big wonderful snowflakes backlit by the hazy eye of the setting sun.
ReplyDeleteNice snowy scene. Bob Ryan, the channel 4 weatherman in D.C. calls that a conversational snow. We had a few flakes in Haymarket, VA but nothing stuck. In fact, we are still waiting for our very first real snowfall. Watch it land on January 20'th!
ReplyDeleteoh, that's so delicate and pretty. all we've had is rain, rain, rain. but if it bothers to snow, I want it to be BIG.
ReplyDeleteSnow! I haven't seen any of that stuff in a while.
ReplyDeleteI imagine it was beautiful while it lasted.
Have a great day.
Pam
yeppers...we had snow flakes for a fleeting moment in time :)
ReplyDeletefor me, a good thing.
i so hate walking from work parking lot into building when there's snow...it's a royal pain.
have a most happy friday...YIPPEE, it's friday.
That's a really pretty snow. Around here, those never last. :-)
ReplyDeleteOne the great things - among so many others - about having kids is getting to relive your childhood, to be there when wondrous things happen. Snow is right up there in the top ten if it isn't a common occurrence.
ReplyDeleteIt didn't stick around long, did it.
ReplyDeleteI was out of town and I missed it all. Got to hear about it, though. Thanks for getting a photo for me!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely picture of the snowflakes and a hint of the sun shining through.
ReplyDeleteThe flakes look pretty through the window with just a peek of sun showing through. Well caught..
ReplyDeleteNicely captured
ReplyDeleteThe snow here has all but melted, though it is still cold and frosty. Roll on summer!
ReplyDeleteGlad the snow brightened up your day.
ReplyDeleteI really can't stand when the snow doesn't stick. We came pretty close to having a white Christmas this year. Maybe 2009.
ReplyDeleteYou caught it while you could . . . nice catch . . . too bad it didn't amount to anything the wee folk could play with.
ReplyDeleteHow neat to actually catch the snow with your camera. MB
ReplyDeleteIt is so wonderful to get some snow when it rarely falls, just like here. If we are lucky, once in 11 years.
ReplyDeleteNicely captured and definitely best through your car window as you actually get the sensation of 'snowing' as the flakes land on the glass. Beautiful picture.
Beautiful snow there
