Barn and Train

I had to take a couple of movies back so I took a little side road for a few new pictures. I pulled over to the side of the road to get a picture of this barn (you probably already know what a huge fan of old barns I am) when this train happened by. Perfect timing!

  1. Great picture. I really love being in this part of the country it's so beautiful. I drove through Virginia on I-81 a couple of weeks ago on my way to PA. I wish I had a few days or a week there, but besides rest stops I was only able to stop and take pictures for about a half an hour in Harrisonburg. I hope to return someday.
    Have a great day!

  4. I love old barns too... the more raggedy the better when it comes to photographing them and their worn color palette.

AND there's ALWAYS a train somewhere in the Roanoke area, isn't there? Have you been down to the train museum?

PS. I was to busy running from the hissing snake to get a picture:) I'm not usually such a wimp but it was ginormous!
