Ribbit

Just one of the millions of frogs that live around here. At night, they are so loud that when the windows are open, you can barely hear the tv. I love listening to them. The boys have caught a few tadpoles and put them in a fishbowl to watch them change into frogs. They are growing legs now!

  1. That's a great close-up Tanya! I have a tree frog living in between the glass and screen on my back door and every time it rains, he starts singing. It drives my kitty crazy!

  2. This is a spectacular frog photo, Tanya. I love frog song...who needs to hear the tv anyway...it's better with the sound off...and now you have a froggy soundtrack.

  4. Great shot.. he's actually kinda cute, but I never ever touch gooshy, mushy creatures such as he.

Bet the guys are in love with them though.

  5. I love from legs! Can you eat them? We used to have many in our canyons here in San Diego but I don't seem them any more - probably due to the fact that we are in a drought!

Great experience for your kids. I hope your week is somehow getting better after the tragic accident. You are in my thoughts and prayers!

  10. We have a lot of them in our backyard for some reason. No water around us, just a lot of rain. Neat project to watch the tadpoles become frogs.
