SkyWatch Friday
The heat/humidity was pretty intense a couple of weeks ago, but we'd get a bit of a break with these short afternoon storms. You can tell fall is coming, the days are getting shorter. I'm not ready for summer to end!
Sorry I've not been keeping up on here, my usb cable to my camera broke and I had to order a new one. I tried to contact Samsung through their customer service number, only to have my call outsourced to a foreign country and was not being understood. Tried emailing Samsung's customer service and NEVER heard back. Eventually got it at a good price through a rinky dink company I found online. Moral of the story, Samsung does not provide descent customer service.
So back on track, to see more skies from all over the world, visit SKYLEY!
Happy SkyWatching!

Football Season
This is football practice for the 7/8 year old Bulldogs. Braden and Dalton are on the same team as they were last year. This was yesterday afternoon, their 2nd practice. They'll practice the rest of the week with just helmets then they will go to full pads.
Christian is playing football for his middle school this year and has practice every afternoon. Luckily tonight Braden and Dalton will also be practicing at Christian's school so it will make it easy on me!

August Theme Day-Night
Wow, another theme day. The months seem to fly by. I have to admit, I wasn't ready for this theme day at all. In fact, I didn't even know what the theme was till yesterday afternoon and wanted to come up with something super creative rather than a picture of the night sky. Couldn't think of anything to do with the theme, other than the night sky though. I even sent my kids out with the camera to see what their brilliant minds would come up with and nothing,lol....So while I was outside last night, I did notice how pretty the moon looked peeking through the trees so I ran back inside, grabbed my camera and voila, theme day photo created! Maybe next month I'll be a little more prepared!
