Saturday it snowed all day. The boys wanted to go over to the Botetourt Sports Complex and snow board down some hills there. Here's the baseball fields with the "Tropical Sno" and ice machines, not really needed today!
It's Sunday morning (have this set to post for Monday) and the snow is melting quickly!
Ooh, snow! We haven't gotten any of that yet-- my girls are so wistful to see a scene like that here and go sledding!

ReplyDeleteI'm thinking Roanoke doesn't get a lot of snow during a normal winter, right? But enough that the kids have a chance to enjoy it.

Ah, yes. It snowed up here in PA, also. The first snow of the Winter Season. We got about 2 inches of the wet snow. Today, most of it melted away, but I went out and shot some Images.

ReplyDeleteThe snow made it feel like holiday time, finally! I thought it was a lovely snow, and much needed. (It adds nitrogen to the soil.)
