On Sunday we wound up in Radford for Cabin Days at the Ingles Farm. This farm belonged to William Ingles and Mary Draper and amazingly is still in the family to this day! Cabin Days was a free event with demonstrators, dressed in period clothing, telling stories of life back then.

The Floyd Ghost Tour
An hour-long walking tour through a historic graveyard and around the center of Floyd offers spooky stories and ghost tales of days gone by. No reservations needed. 7 p.m. Meet at the Black Water Loft Coffee Shop, 117 S. Locust St., Floyd. 745-7433.

Blue Ridge Potters Guild 12th Show and Sale

The Treasure Hunters Roadshow

ReplyDeleteOur annual Ocala Arts & Crafts fair will be the weekend after next...but Stone Creek is having a fair this Saturday and there is a the big Seafood Festival at Cedar Key...
I'll bet every community is holding such events.
Cabin Days sounds like a wonderful event. We have similar things here in Tennessee this time of the year. I must say that no one in Roanoke should be bored with so many different things to do.
