Looking up at St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church. The original church was built in 1833 and was the only church to escape destruction during the Civil War. The church was extensively altered in 1896 in the then popular Neo-Gothic style which is seen today.

You framed this image perfectly, with the intersecting lines all converging on the church...I have to agree with most people that commented on your blog I love your photos of Harpers Ferry. Also this is a fresh angle of this church, I have seen many images and they all seem to show the whole church ... good job =)
