SkyWatch Friday

Downtown Roanoke on a Sunday afternoon....not a lot of sky action here, just kind of blah, but sometimes that's just how it is. To see skies from all over the world, visit skyley. Have a great weekend :)

  1. No traffic jam getting to the Outfitters. You know, since Bud retired he has worked for Walkabout here in Lex and is sometimes at the V.View and downtown stores. Have caught Montezuma’s Revenge from the kids at school and my voice is gone and I am coughing continually.....yuck. Like your shot.

  2. Campbell Avenue? When I was growing up in Roanoke, it was a one way street. I was quite surprised to find it changed.

    I love the photo!!

  3. I don't think it's blah. I like looking up the road and seeing the blue skies pulls your eyes towards the sky....

  12. Hi Tanya, I grew up not too far from Roanoke in the small town of Big Stone Gap, VA.. I have a friend that I graduated with (Nancy Paye) who lives in Roanoke. Neat city!!!! We go near there when we are on the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Did you all get alot of snow from this latest system. Here in Crossville, TN--we got about 2 inches.

    Hugs,
    Betsy
