All that is left of the fence are the fence posts...I pass these posts several times a day, they are right down the road from me. I like the texture of the wood. Linking up with Friday Fences ! Have a great Memorial Day Weekend!!
Lovely old world feel to your shot. I remember reading with confusion about Labo(u)r Day, Memorial Day and another holiday in my "Let's Go USA" guide first time I went to USA. So now, for now, I am clear which month Memorial Day is in- Have a happy one!
This scene reminds me of the English countryside in my favorite novel/film "North and South". I can just see Margaret Hale lying in the grass in her poufy dress day dreaming.
You don't often see just the posts left. I'm guessing it was a wire fence at one time? Beautiful scene!
ReplyDeleteA romantic landscape there! This scenery reminds me my childhood in Brazil, thanks for sharing this special postcard!
ReplyDeletehugs and a nice Friday

ReplyDeleteHow interesting that the posts are still there!
ReplyDeleteI guess it would be appropriate to call these lonely posts "leftovers."

ReplyDeleteFunny the things we notice while out and about. Love the soft tones of this photo, Tanya. Enjoy your weekend as well.
ReplyDeleteWonder what kind of fence linked to these posts, and what it fenced in (or out). Lovely photo.
