Friday Fences

All that is left of the fence are the fence posts...I pass these posts several times a day, they are right down the road from me. I like the texture of the wood. Linking up with Friday Fences ! Have a great Memorial Day Weekend!!

  1. You don't often see just the posts left. I'm guessing it was a wire fence at one time? Beautiful scene!

  10. Lovely old world feel to your shot. I remember reading with confusion about Labo(u)r Day, Memorial Day and another holiday in my "Let's Go USA" guide first time I went to USA. So now, for now, I am clear which month Memorial Day is in- Have a happy one!

  12. I guess it would be appropriate to call these lonely posts "leftovers."

  18. Wonder what kind of fence linked to these posts, and what it fenced in (or out). Lovely photo.

  19. This scene reminds me of the English countryside in my favorite novel/film "North and South". I can just see Margaret Hale lying in the grass in her poufy dress day dreaming.
