Friday Fences

George Washington's Mount Vernon. The view from the back of the house looking out onto the Potomac River. We were there about a year ago, on a VERY cold day!

Linking up with Friday Fences

  1. Views are spectacular from George's place. And where else would you find a brick wall around a pasture? :-)

Janis must be having some technical difficulties today--Friday Fences not in my blogroll yet. I think we can use the old sign up list since the same set of characters usually play each week.

  5. It's been years, Tanya, since I've been to Mt. Vernon. Nice to see a 'personal' (not postcard) picture of the place again.

  6. It does look very cold in this pic... There's so many cool historical places out there on the east coast.

Just a reminder not to forget to swing by Wednesday evenings around 6pm CST to link up for the new Watery Wednesday... and, of course, Mondays at the same time for Barn Charm! =)

  20. Only the relative warmth of that redbrick fence/wall saves the viewer from experiencing utter desolation! Brr!
