Monday Mural - Blacksburg

A random mural in Blacksburg. I combed the internet looking for info on this one and nothing came up. I did learn that there was a whole mural campaign in Blacksburg to clean up unwanted graffiti. It would be handy if the town had a website listing the murals, locations and artists since it was whole project and all.

    That is quite a mural, and I totally agree, it would be a great idea to commemorate them in some way! Must have taken quite alot of work to do that!

    That's a nice way to avoid graffiti though some might find it tempting to spray onto it. I'll never understand that...

    So many modes of transportation in this mural, except the wild turkey, of course. A very nice slice of historical life. Thanks for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.

    I love it and I agree, a website would be great. I noticed that the electric boxes in my town had been painted with murals and found a little information on the web. I love these murals! This one is full of so many things to look at.
