A random mural in Blacksburg. I combed the internet looking for info on this one and nothing came up. I did learn that there was a whole mural campaign in Blacksburg to clean up unwanted graffiti. It would be handy if the town had a website listing the murals, locations and artists since it was whole project and all.

There is a whole story painted on that wall. love it.
ReplyDeleteThat is quite a mural, and I totally agree, it would be a great idea to commemorate them in some way! Must have taken quite alot of work to do that!
ReplyDeleteThis looks fantastic. Totally agree with you :).
ReplyDeleteit is neat!
ReplyDeleteI do like this wall mural...maybe someone with 'the town' will read your post and get that website started!
ReplyDeleteI like that mural--there are so many stories there.
ReplyDeleteLots going on, on that particular wall!
ReplyDeleteIt is interesting, and certainly nicer to see than graffiti
ReplyDeleteClassic Americana !
ReplyDeleteThat's a nice way to avoid graffiti though some might find it tempting to spray onto it. I'll never understand that...
ReplyDeleteIt's a neat mural!
ReplyDeleteWell, somebody spent a lot of time on it. Lots of different things going on!
ReplyDeleteThere's a lot of detail going on there. I like it!
ReplyDeleteI see my pesky turkey made it over to Blacksburg! :)
ReplyDeleteI find it frustrating when I can get no info on pieces like this one!
ReplyDeleteSo many modes of transportation in this mural, except the wild turkey, of course. A very nice slice of historical life. Thanks for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.
ReplyDeleteI love all the modes of transportation depicted there!
ReplyDeleteI love it and I agree, a website would be great. I noticed that the electric boxes in my town had been painted with murals and found a little information on the web. I love these murals! This one is full of so many things to look at.
ReplyDeleteGreat mural! It's been quite a while since I participated in Monday's murals...I guess I should get back in the groove!
