We Interrupt Your Regularly Scheduled Winter...

...to bring you a little summer storm...

As I get this post ready for tomorrow, (it's currently Sunday), they are predicting a little snow for us tonight and in the morning (half inch-inch). We'll see what we wake up to. First day back to school after Christmas break. Will we get a snow day? We'll have to wait and see!

**UPDATE**
Not one stupid snowflake. Can you tell I'm getting annoyed at the fact that we just can't get any snow here? What's the deal. Oh, but we to have record breaking windchills tonight/tomorrow. Looking at the forecast, could be -20 windchills here. What? That's a little scary!

  12. Love that spiderweb! I know those wind chills are affecting many even in the south. Here in the north land we are experiencing -40 wind chills. (some even lower). The governor declared all public schools to be closed today. Most private and parochial schools are closed as well. We do have sunshine though.

  16. We're in the same boat with the crazy wind chills. Brought all the animals inside to keep them safe and the chickens are locked up tight in their coop. David got another snow day today I think mainly because of the bitter cold.

    I like the photo!

  20. What a great shot! What? No snow?? Well….I suppose I could complain about the same thing. But then again….Florida is known for NO snow days.

  22. It is plenty cold across most of the USA. Count yourself lucky that you didn't get the kind of snow that the Midwest and Northeast got!

  23. Wow..I love that shot!
It's nice to see something else rather than snow and ice!

  24. A lovely shot! I was looking at a web, crusted with snow, wondering if I could manage the shot.

The weather on both sides of the border has been dominating our news for the last couple of weeks. It was noted that Atlanta had a colder temperature yesterday than Anchorage, Alaska.
