You do live in such a beautiful area. Enjoyed the photos.
ReplyDeleteOh I LOVE LOVE these shots Tanya. Hug B
ReplyDeleteHello Tanya, great photo today. I love the second shot. Happy Thursday!
ReplyDeleteHow fun, especially the little boy and his dog, just happy to be running along! Very interesting name Pearisburg, makes me wonder how in the world did they come up with that spelling? A grove of pears?!
ReplyDeleteOh shucks, the name arrives because of a man named George Pearis.
ReplyDeleteMy favourite is the second photo too. Is this Amish country?
ReplyDeleteWonderfully sunny photos!
ReplyDeleteLove seeing those Amish buggies, Tanya. And so great that there is a sign for warning of their being in the area.
ReplyDeleteWe definitely don't see signs like that here! Funny one. :)
ReplyDeletei like the scene with the boy, dogs, and wagon team! thanks for the pretty courthouse courtyard!
ReplyDeleteWonderful shots !
ReplyDeleteWonderful takes.
ReplyDeleteI used to come across these buggies when I was riding my bike where I once lived.
ReplyDeleteLoved seeing the horses and buggie
ReplyDeleteWhat happened when you came up against a large black T-shaped thing in the road? Loved the buggy! Just checked out the post you suggested - fabulous!
ReplyDeleteInteresting signs. I am guessing the one means there is a right hand turn coming up...maybe the turn is hidden. LOVE the horses and the little boy with the dog coming to meet them. It is perfect Norman Rockwell. Amish ones I bet because I get a glimpse of a straw hat. This would make a beautiful greeting card front!
ReplyDeleteLove the signs!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty area. That 2nd shot looks like it could have been taken in the 1930s!
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely area!
ReplyDeleteLove that horse drawn wagon!
ReplyDeleteA place I would enjoy visiting. Love the sights of the Amish.
ReplyDeleteHow I wish I were traveling along in that first shot...and love the second...and the third is a really nice shot.
ReplyDeleteLove the buggy sign.
ReplyDeleteThat sign indicates the possibility of a pre-20th Century vehicle on the road, and the second shot shows you found one. Looks like a more relaxed way to live.
ReplyDeleteLove the little hint of a rainbow in the last photo! Enjoyed your pictures.
