This day can't pass without thinking about the events that happened 14 years ago...
Let's honor some of the canine heroes:
1)
2)
3)
4)
5)
There's so many more to show but there are my 5.
Now for your part, post 5 randoms, link back to this blog, visit others! Thanks and have a great weekend!
I also have a little give away this week. A few months ago I started Try The World and it's been fun! So far I've gotten a box from France, Argentina and Japan. With my Japan box I was given codes to give out for 3 readers to use for a FREE Japan box! If you would like the code, just comment that you are interested and I will email it to you. I will take the 1st 3 comments stating they are interested!

Being a dog owner, of course I have a soft spot when it comes to these subjects. They are such incredible creatures!

I bawled through so much of this! No. 4 was particularly moving. Oh Tanya, what a beautiful post, honoring the dogs who worked so tirelessly, and also as a reminder of what we went through on that day. This is an anniversary we have to always remember. God bless every volunteer...including the precious dogs!
ReplyDeleteYes, please send me the codes for Japan's Try the World box! I'd love to give it a try! Thanks!
Most in the civilised world will remember the moment they first heard about what was happening on that dreadful day. It's an anniversary that we should always note. Well done, you. There was a harrowing programme on the box about it last night - I confess I couldn't watch it all. It's a good day to remember our freedoms, and be thankful for them, but be mindful of the evil that still needs to be overcome.
ReplyDeleteIt is a sad anniversary, and I do not think I want to see any of those images again. Initially I was unable to take my eyes from the television screen, but now I have to turn away because the world is unfolding in such a sick and sorrowful way in so many countries. We need to learn to be more human toward one another and it seems that is not what is occurring across the world. PS I would like the code, please. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteA wonderful reminder!
ReplyDeleteTanya, thanks for this wonderful reminder of the heroes on the day. The images are forever in our minds.
ReplyDeleteA world changing day- there'll always be the before 9/11 view and the after.
ReplyDeleteThank you for posting such a sombering and touching post for today. I discovered your lovely blog via Marie. I loved reading about the Try the World. I love everything Japanese. I'm going to check out the site you mentioned. Have a wonderful weekend. Pat
ReplyDeleteWow I've never seen or read any of this and it was just beautiful & poignant. Thank you for sharing. I've view and cried, and remembered today.
ReplyDeleteHello again. I'd ove the code for the Japan box if it's still available. Thank you.
DeleteI'm a fan of hero dogs! Hooray for dogs!
