A few photos from this week:
1) New Haven Church of Christ . Laymantown Road . Troutville
This little church looks old but I really can't find anything on it. It does however appear to still hold services as the sign said on Sundays at 10:30
2) Valley Road . Daleville
3) Williamson Road . Roanoke
4) Williamson Road . Roanoke
5) Williamson Road . Roanoke
Had lunch there for the first time on Sunday. Was soooooo good! Been in business since 1957 so that should tell ya something! HERE's an article I found on it.
Well that's my 5 for the week! I would be so happy if you'd join in! Post 5 randoms, link back and visit others! Have a great weekend :)

Nice to see more photos of your area! Such a little church! But I think, it's more cozy to have a small church for a few people than such big old churches than in Germany and the few few people feel lost and alone in them and you cannot hear their singing by the loud organ playing -
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your weekend
Fun that your week activities include a nice lunch. Cute petite little church too.
ReplyDeleteWilliamson Road must be "the strip!"
ReplyDeleteI'm such a big fan of those vintage signs!
ReplyDeleteThat is a great Friday Five Tanya. Fun signs and places.
ReplyDeleteThose country churches are very unique, and there are many in Texas out away from the towns.

ReplyDeleteThat doesn't look like what you'd think of in a church!
ReplyDeleteInteresting 5 Tanya...that church is so small...wish you could go back to see how many cars are there when there is a service.
ReplyDeleteNice selection of buildings and signs in your area. I may have actually seen some of these many years ago when I was in Roanoke.
ReplyDeleteYou always find something interesting for us! Hope you're having a nice weekend.
