Well I liked this old building because of the chippy paint and upon investigating I have learned that this was originally the Kemble Building, then in the early 20th century served as the Buchanan Colored Odd Fellows Lodge. Not knowing what an Odd Fellow Lodge was, I found THIS. I think this building has had an interesting life!

ReplyDeleteThat is a neat building. I hadn't heard mention of the IOOF since finding something that showed my grandfather had been a member. He died when I was still a toddler, so I don't remember him at all.
