Trump In Radford

On Monday Donald Trump came to Radford University. We went to see what he had to say. There was so much excitement in the air!
Here we are stuck in traffic watching these kids pose for pictures on their porch. Notice their patriotic clothing?!

We had to walk quite a distance as the parking lot filled up quickly.

We couldn't sit inside as it only had room for 3000 people and was filled up before we got there but they did have a big screen set up for all of us outside to watch. I heard there was another 11,000 people outside.

Our view of the big screen. Luckily it was a nice, warm, sunny day!

At one point a group of protesters climbed up on this roof. The police came and they ran away quickly!

Saw this on the way back to our car.

Somehow we ended up behind Trump's motorcade! That was pretty exciting as well!

No matter what party you stand for, it is such a great experience to go see a Presidential Candidate. We went and saw George Bush back when we lived in Missouri and after moving here we were downtown by chance when Bill Clinton was here. We didn't see him but saw them getting ready for the event. Great fun!

  3. 14,000 people? Wow...that must have been a "show" - we never get anyone up here - so, I guess if someone did show up, no matter what party, we would come out of the "woods...and woodwork..." to see them.

  6. He has quite a following, it seems. All of his rally's have huge turnouts. Looks like a great day to attend this one!

  7. I feel like I have been there too after looking at your photos. The election build up is all over the news here so we don't miss much.
