Willy Nilly Friday 5 No. 73

This week I'm going to take you around Raleigh, NC:

1)
North Carolina State University Wolfpack...these were pretty awesome! For more info on the sculptures CLICK HERE

Raleigh Flea Market @ the State Fair Grounds
It was really, really, really cold and windy. We didn't stay too long. Nick ended up with a face mask and ear muffs for running.

3)
Moore Square
Raleigh is known as The City of Oaks, so how about celebrating with a ginormous acorn?! For more on the acorn CLICK HERE

These guys were preaching something. We were stopped at a light across the street and could hear them shouting so I snapped a quick pic as we drove by!

    I sat in the Raleigh airport for 5 hours last month...not too impressive.

    Gonna go back and click on the City Market link you shared in a bit, but I must say the acorn among the trees in the town square like that is cool. Oh, and the wolf pack sculptures? Awesome!!!

    The acorn is quite unique. I do love those markets. It would probably have been interesting to hear what those two guys were preaching.

    I was so sorry we missed visiting Raleigh last year on vacation as it looks like a great place to see and I read recently it is one of the top places to live in the US.

    That humongous acorn is something else. I lived in Asheville for 18 years, and we used to go to Raleigh, but not since we moved up here. Looks like you all had a full trip. IS the snow as gorgeous in FIncastle as it is here? The trees are gorgeous, and there is about 2 inches on the grass. Noe stayed on driveway or the Bridge to Somewhere. I just hope it does not melt before I can get out of my jammies and haul my old self out there with the trusty camera. Have a fun weekend, my friend.

    Love the wolf sculptures and the acorn! Both are awesome! It was fun getting to see Raleigh! Don't worry about being super busy...I know what you are talking about! :-)

    That acorn is amazing. Those skies are so deceiving, it's as though it's a nice summers day. We are the same over here, with blue skies for a while but freezing! Have a great weekend.
