This is Bei Bei. He was born August 22, 2015. All he did was sleep in this very uncomfortable position while we were there.
I don't know which Panda this is. The Smithsonian has 4 but only Bei Bei and this one were out. You can watch the Pandas on their webcam HERE and you can see how much Bei Bei has grown since his birth HERE

ReplyDeleteHello!:) Great shots of the Pandas. I have never seen one, except that my kids had Pandas, not a Teddy to go to sleep with. I think they are lovely creatures, and it's a sweet capture of Bei Bei asleep. I think that his name was probably derived from baby, and BebĂȘ, in Portuguese!
ReplyDeleteHave a good day!:)
Who doesn't love pandas? Bei Bei is cute.

ReplyDeleteHow fun to see the Panda's. That sleeping position does look uncomfortable but Bei Bei doesn't seem to mind sleeping that way. I know I would though.
