1) I love weather vanes...this one is in Buchanan
2)
Nick is upstairs watching Generation Kill and I can hear this song playing on the show...I had forgotten how much I like it!
3) Cuppa coffee anyone?
4) Explore Park
The boys were supposed to have a football game in Rockbridge County tonight (Thursday) but we have been having so much rain since yesterday...major amounts of rain... so they postponed it till Monday...I'm glad...Monday's weather looks to be much better!
5) The area where they removed the stitches is healing pretty well...I still have a deep cut on the side of my nose that they didn't stitch that just needs to heal naturally. I have been very good about keeping Vaseline on it like the Dr. ordered. Next week I can start tissue massage which will help to break up the scar tissue.
Well that's my 5 this week! I hope you will play along too! Post 5 randoms, link back and visit others! Have a great weekend :)

Your boys are gorgeous! So glad you are healing well. I have been past this coffee sign quite a few times. Hope you have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteI love this coffee sign.
ReplyDeletehave a nice weekend
Great sond, I hear it the first one today. Get well soon (I wasn't online last friday and read it only today) and better weather for the boys
ReplyDeleteI am wishing you speedy healing Tanya. Happy to hear you followed the doctor's orders. Looks like the boys may be missing more games maybe? I saw this rain is pretty much socking us in for a few more days. Enjoyed the photos and Johnny Cash. That is such a good song.
ReplyDeleteAmerican Recordings is the 81st album by Johnny Cash and produced by Rick Rubin and released in April 1994. This is perhaps Cash's best work. You sure like dark songs! Take care and heal.
ReplyDelete...and yet another storm [major hurricane by Sunday...tho, not in your area] may be traveling along the east coast. Stay dry. And...I LOVE the photo of the two boys.
ReplyDeleteI never heard of using Vaseline for that purpose. Live and learn.
Glad to hear that you are healing well and you have been an obedient patient. Both are handsome boys. I used to be a fan of Johnny Cash. Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing to see how your boys have grown. I have always had a soft spot for redheads. :)
ReplyDeleteLove that coffee pot sign! The cabin where your two handsome sons are sitting looks like a fun place!
ReplyDeleteGlad you are healing!
All great photos and what a fun place to visit, love your last photo, good and fun times shared together!
ReplyDeleteHeal quickly dear friend! Great shot of the boys on the steps...they are growing fast just like my grandson! Kids never stay small long enough! LOVE Johnny Cash by the way!
ReplyDeleteI love that coffee sign and the Johnny Cash song, I like that too. Tom mentioned the American recordings and I love them. Cash's best music ever.
ReplyDeleteOh heal quickly..well, just quick enough to not form scar tissue. I am so glad that turned out so well. Your twins are just too cute. I have enjoyed watching them grow up since I found your blog..it seems like yesterday!! Love Cash!
ReplyDeleteGlad you are healing okay. I thought "that cup looks so familiar" and then I realized...
ReplyDeleteThat's good news on the medical front. I like that vane!
ReplyDeleteBellissimi i tuoi gemelli :)
