My neighbors hang their laundry year round...love the smell of laundry hanging on the clothesline!

  1. Fresh dried laundry is the best done by mother nature. Smells good too.

  2. I was going to say that's not something I see very often then remembered one of my next door neighbors hangs her wash on occasion. In some communities in this area (the 55+ resort-type places) this would be verbotten! :)

  3. A nice image.
It is not common here. ( In Norway)
Perhaps too cold and too much rain and wind.

  4. The best way to dry the washing Tanya, no electricity needed, mother nature does the best job.. this is an almost everyday scene in my back garden also, I especially love sheet to see the white bedsheets blowing in the breeze 😀😀 Super shot here Tanya!

  6. I love this so much. I had aspirations of having a laundry line, but sadly most of the year it would take days to dry anything with the rain and humidity here.

  8. I have never had much success with hanging out laundry. Love the smell but it always seems to rain. What I really like about your photograph is the silhouettes.

  9. I love hanging up laundry, but haven't been able to lately because it does require being at home for a good chunk of time, and I've been too busy.

  10. Laundry Art! I love pictures of laundry in the sunlight. There is a poem called "A Clothesline Poem" and it talks about how we know our neighbors by their laundry. If someone was sick, how much people had grown, etc.

  11. Ha! We had a clothesline when I was a kid. I rarely see them here.

  12. I love to hang clothes on the line. However, I don't in the winter!

  13. We are part-time ex pats in Greece and one of the joys of this lifestyle is hanging clothes to dry. Takes a bit longer in the colder months, but oh the rewards of doing so!

  14. It can't be done here in the winter... unless you're hanging them in the basement.

  15. The colors and shadows with the laundry provide a perfect subject for your lens. Great shot.
