This was yesterday afternoon as Braden and I were headed to the hospital to see his girlfriend...she just had surgery on Wednesday and is doing well...cute couple they make with Braden having just had his knee surgery and now Bekka healing from her surgery!

A beautiful sunrise we had at the beginning of the week...these pictures really belong side by side as that's the view from my back deck... linking with SkyWatch Friday

3)
Lake Forest . Troutville

This little pond isn't too far from home...it belongs to the Lake Forest Subdivision...Dalton likes to fish here sometimes... yesterday I pulled over to see if it had flooded yet but it was still early in the day...was a little higher than normal...wonder what it is like today though...while looking I noticed something else...

...a little library and it was FULL!

5)
Lowe's . Bonsack

While at Lowe's this week (I work there part time... I'm also still working part time at the high school but this is my last semester as the boys will be graduating!!) a regular came in with his beautiful Great Dane, Chinook... Chinook gets lots of attention when they come in but he also always has his 2 Boxers wait out in his vehicle...me and my friend went out to pet them! I see these guys everywhere actually and take their picture when I do! Linking with Eileen's Saturday's Critters

Have a great weekend!

  2. Your sky pictures are gorgeous! The jet streams look like art! Your first picture looks just like the road in front of U.V.A.

  10. Gorgeous skies and such unusual contrails in the second photo. Those little libraries are a wonderful idea!

  11. I've never seen contrails quite like the ones in your photo, and to have them at sunrise - perfect. Also enjoyed the reflections on the wet road. Have a great week!

  13. I love to see those little corner library boxes. We have several in our town and try to donate when I think about it. I haven't found a book in them yet that I wanted to check out. But I won't give up. - Margy

  19. Tanya, Bonsack needs to be working for TV advertising agencies. Cars dangling from SUV's lately, I'm thinking Jeep? I like too, your Reflection from the rainy highway and the city lighting. I came from James Reflections but I also have been doing Tom's weekends since he started, 2 1/2 years now.
Thanks for peeking in on me.
