Signs, Signs - Oldsmobile

Fincastle, Va

This old 1930's era Oldsmobile Dealership now houses the artwork of Ed Bordett. While walking by on a Sunday afternoon, I looked in the window of his shop and fell in love with his artwork! And what a cool studio, an old dealership?! Love it!

Linking up for the first time with Signs, Signs!

  9. Apparently I am older than dirt, so I notice & recognize these signs a lot more than I used to.

  10. Ooh, nice! I was thinking of doing a series on some of the signs around town and am thus pleased as punch to see that there's a meme for that. :)

  11. I love that old timey sign! So nice they kept it. It feels more like art than just commercialism, somehow. (Loved your comment on the baby aspirin, lol!)

  12. Roanoke really does have some wonderful old signs and buildings. Every time I go to the doctor over by Roanoke Memorial and pass the H and C Coffee sign I think of you. One of these days we are going to have to meet. genie

  16. My mother's favorite car--an Olds. Love that sign. Very retro. I actually take a lot of pictures of signs that I think are interesting. I'm not a photographer like you though. Just for fun. I also like taking pictures of windows.
