Battle of Buchanan VI

And...even more old/new. Ok, this is kind of funny and I didn't realize it till I was posting this photo. See the young girl, second from the back? Well Braden and Dalton had a little crush on her. This is how small Botetourt is... The next weekend they had a baseball game in Fincastle. Saw this same girl there... A boy from their team knows her and was supposedly going to get her number for them lol...kind of forgot about that till now...I'll have to find out how that all went down! Love living in a small town!

Linking with Our World Tuesday, Rubbish Tuesday, and Ruby Tuesday Too!

  6. The women at work dress up in the long dresses for tours but they aren't the large civil war style but regular farm dresses and bonnets. When a school group comes in for a tour, the kids are also put into costume with bonnets and straw hats and clothes. We are talking 1st graders so they get into it and get to play with hoops and make corn cob yard darts with feathers. Some times there is a corn bread tour where they cook bread in the fire place dutch oven. Fun stuff to dress up.

  12. When I see these ladies wearing those long dresses with tons of petticoats, I think HOT! Now that you have us wondering, perhaps you could post whether or not there was an actual connection. I live in a small town. Not much excitement. :)
