Rubbish Tuesday - Morning @ Happy's

Happy's is an old indoor flea market located in Roanoke...On a chilly March morning we went out to breakfast then stopped at Happy's for the very first time, come along!

I'm diggin' that old skool tile floor!

Remember trying to win radio contests with these old dial phones? Yeah, good luck with that!

I didn't have a 7-Up bike but I did have a bike similar to this with the old banana seat and sissy bar!

In the market for a squirrel (I think) pelt?

Your Halloween one stop shop!

Ah, but honestly, Happy's is pretty interesting and I guess there's something there for everyone. I personally buy the bulk incense they sell and not because I smoke pot which my mom always thought that people who burn incense only do it to cover up the pot smell lol...I just happen to love incense...and then...this happened...
We bought a drumset...Linking up with Rubbish Tuesday if you would like more info on Happy's, visit their website RIGHT HERE!

  1. What a surprise purchase!! Was it planned? How cool! Drums are very expensive, and I bet you got a good deal here. We have a set of electric drums for the girls. They loved playing with them since they were tiny.

  3. Wow there are so many things there. From useless little things to real treasures. You just have to search.

  5. Whoo Hoo a drum set, everybody will be happy now. I remember those old phones and radio contests. I would get made because my Mom wouldnt get us a push button phone because it cost more to rent them.

  12. It certainly looks like what you'd expect out of a flea market. And yes, you'll regret that drum purchase. It reminds me of the joke that if you dislike someone, buy their kids a set of drums!

  14. The drum set is a dangerous purchase. Wonderful for the budding Gene Krupa or Buddy Rich, but torture if you are trying to sleep or concentrate. Love places like this. Such fun looking at all the stuff.

  20. My mom still uses a Rotary Phone (cream colored). Flea Markets are great places where, "one mans junk is another mans treasure." - Have fun with those drums.
