Christmas shopping? :-)
ReplyDeleteGreat photos! I am ahead of the game this year as far as Christmas presents. My overseas gifts were sent a couple of weeks ago and I took presents down to family at Thanksgiving to be opened up at Christmas. This is very unusual for me, usually I am running around at the last minute.
DeleteGreat pictures with a wonderful sky :)

That shot along the Blue Ridge turnpike is wonderful !
ReplyDelete... and that's quite a tree sitting out front.
ReplyDeleteHello again, just came back to thank you for your lovely comment, and for the stories on the kindness of others that you experienced at special times. Hearing about these nice people always make me feel so good. You are right, there are a lot of kind people out there.
ReplyDeleteNice almost winter pictures! I also need to get my act together with the Christmas shopping. And put up some decorations, I'm so behind!.
ReplyDeleteI like that old church. These were the kinds of churches that were ubiquitous during my childhood.
ReplyDeletebeautiful light in that first shot! and great views. thanks, tanya!
ReplyDeleteSounds like you have done more Christmas shopping than I have. :))
ReplyDeleteGosh, I'm always still shopping up to the last minute! Your photos today are just dreamy!
ReplyDeleteI'm done with the Christmas shopping and have started with the wrapping! Well - except for teacher gifts. I still need to get those.
ReplyDeleteYour first picture of the church is beautiful. It is so symbolic!! The church, the graveyard with the leafless tree...it makes a powerful statement to me.
ReplyDeleteForget to say...I started Christmas shopping late, but am just about done! Now to face sending out almost 100 cards...
ReplyDeleteI like the effect of the branches in the first image!
ReplyDeleteWonderful scenes. I still find graveyards in churches a bit morbid but it looks like a lovely church. - Such a pretty country fence/road. Christmas is coming way to fast, I haven't even started shopping, oh wait I've bought 1 gift.
ReplyDeletePretty scenes. I love looking around cemeteries, especially old ones!
ReplyDeleteLove the photo of the old cemetery! I do like visiting little cemeteries in our area.
ReplyDeleteI have been down that road, not far through there. No shopping yet.
ReplyDeleteBoth are beautiful views.
ReplyDeleteChristmas shopping? You surely don't mean starting that before 2 PM on the 24th, do you?
Beautiful pics but I really love that first one! Only on-line shopping for me this year. Avoiding crowds at all costs. But I don't have much to buy so that should be easy.
ReplyDeleteTwo gorgeous shots!
ReplyDeleteChristmas shopping is all done!
These are beautiful! Love the big tree!
ReplyDeletePretty shots Tanya! I like that tree too. I'm about half way done with my shopping.
ReplyDeleteI haven't even started Christmas shopping.
ReplyDeleteThe Blue Ridge looks great...too long since I've been there.

Beautiful scenery!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a nice road to walk along side of.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful light and a charming church!
ReplyDeleteThat's a beautiful resting place, alive or not.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful capture. I have rode through the area and love the senery. I like the name Fincastle.
ReplyDeleteI haven't hardly started shopping, getting later with it every year, will finish decorating Saturday.
I really like that first image. The stark leafless tree and the headstones go together really well.
