  4. this is a common practice on our beaches!! i don't really understand why people do it but perhaps they enjoy it. i am more interested in shells and sea glass, those are my treasures!!!

  6. I call this coin shooting! We have one, but rarely use it anymore. It's fun to take it to the beach in the fall- lots of coins in the sand...and a whole lot of bottle cans and pop tops.

  11. I'd like to be on a beach searching for treasure too. My dad use to have one of those and enjoyed looking for treasure even if it was just a few cents change.
