Willy Nilly Friday 5 No. 98

1)
If you follow these train tracks a couple hundred feet or so you would end up at yesterday's house.

2)
Our boys won against Fort Defiance: 76-0

3) Are you watching American Horror Story? I am! I have watched every season since the beginning and couldn't wait for this one...it is title "My Roanoke Nightmare" but has nothing to do with my Roanoke, although many Roanokers that don't watch the show are freaking out lol...anyways, if you do watch HERE'S some interesting reading on this season!

4) Now THIS STORY will make your heart happy :)

5) My new favorite show is Californication on Netflix...although I can only watch when absolutely none of my kids are home as it would be very awkward given all the sex going on in it! It is a very funny show though and I am in love with all the characters! David Duchovny is brilliant in it!

Well that's my 5 for the week and I hope you will play along! Post 5 randoms, link back and visit others! Have a super weekend!

I am linking up with 5 on Friday

  1. Congrats to the boys :-)
I don't know the shows and I probably would not understand spoken language (I've learned only to write and read)...
#4 shows me that life in States is many different as with us in Germany. Here no one would privately help other people in need - let them apply for state aid! Whoever is not able to do this - his own bad luck... We are completely under state administration, that I often see as a big difference.
    Have a famous weekend

  6. Your first picture is gorgeous! I do remember that you said there were tracks by the house. Wonder if that brings down it's value. Love what you did with the football picture! We go by Fort Defiance all the time. That wall out by the street is always so interesting. I loved Duchoveny and Anderson in The X Files.

  7. Your Willy Nillies are always such fun to see. Congrats to the boys on the win...and that first shot is gorgeous. I have lost the piece of paper with all of my info, but that structure is directly across the street from City Hall. If you kept on going down the street from Andrew Jackson House you would come to it. All of those , I think 4, beautiful homes were originally fraternities but they have all been forced ro move onto campus or thrown off because of drinking and the like. We had a number of horrible deaths on country roads there for a while where copious drinking was involved. W and L then made serious changes. All of those house are under other ownership I assume tho the banner still hang up top. I called W and L, gave them the address, and then they gave me the name of that frat, but I cannot remember it to save my soul...but at least that halfway answers your question. Genie

  8. Wow that was some score. Love how you did the photo.
Can't say Id watch Californication as it's not my thing, nor is super scary stuff either. To each their own though and it's always good to have a variety of things for people to watch.

  9. Two great photos and how fun for you to document your boys playing their sports. Great pictures. I haven't watched the two shows you mentioned. I do have Netflix so should check them out. I think it is because I get glued to the British Cops and Robbers shows.

  11. Your shot of the train tracks reminds me of the old TV show Mayberry RFD for some reason. Congrats to your boys on the win. Love the photo by the way. I think I would be a little concerned too if American Horror Story ran a show with my town's name in it. I haven't watched the show but just the name would have me wondering if I needed to be worried…lol
