This morning Braden had his second post op Drs appointment (everything looks good!) and Mellow Mushroom is right next door so I snapped a pic for Monday Murals because it is so colorful! Full disclosure: I've not eaten here, yet! We had them where we lived in Georgia and Nick had been to one there and wasn't impressed so he's never taken us haha but I think that needs to change! Looks like a fun place to eat! Braden has another post op check up in a few weeks so I think we'll plan to have dinner there afterwards! You can read a review HERE

This is definitely a colorful and lively mural and building. It reminds me of a restaurant that went out of business in y town, right down to the concrete blocks. I fail to remember it, because I think it was sold before I ever knew it was there. It too, was a chain. I am really impressed with this beauty.

Those aren't mellow colors! I guess psychedelic is the theme. ;-)
ReplyDeleteYes, we have mellow mushroom here and the food I've had there was good. We ate at a few in Alabama as well, and maybe Georgia? They had a hot spicy chicken, maybe carribbean or something?--it was good. I read that Good Housekeeping too, and I have painted chairs just like the one pictured, but the wall pictures kind of had me perplexed, like you! ha ha LOL
