On Thursday morning we had an incredible sunrise! I was making breakfast and my kitchen turned a bright pink so I ran out on the deck with my phone and snapped a pic!

The other night I was putting some towels away in the bathroom and noticed the lights reflecting on the door and thought it was pretty! Linking with Weekend Reflections

Halfsies? On Thursday Braden had physical therapy so I was reading a Good Housekeeping mag while I waited and came across this...painting things half and half...the chair is ok but really, paint half a picture? Is it just me or does that look ridiculous? I had to double take because I didn't think the project was finished...took me a few minutes to realize it was haha...

Anyways that's my wrap up for the week! Have a great weekend...it's a rainy one here!

  1. Terrific sunrise photo. Also like your reflections shot, and I agree with you about painting out half a picture. That is just silly, and destructive.

  3. The sunset is spectacular!! But I think my favorite is the door lights; they are gorgeous! They remind me of a church window. I agree, the half painted pictures are so dumb! But the chair is not too bad. Still, it looks like someone ran out of paint.

  6. Nope, I don't like those half pictures. :) I could live with the chair. The reflections are fun. Enjoy your weekend.

  7. I hope your son's therapy is going well. Enjoyed the photos. Not sure about the half pictures/half chair :) My mind is way too symmetrical to be able to stop half way and call it done, lol!

  9. The first photo is my favorite!
    Beautiful sunrise, too
Half a painting - just plain dumb - might as well just throw a dish towel over half to cover it up!
    Have a wonderful weekend!

  23. That sunrise! Wow,. And the light reflection on your window, what a special find! I love day-brighteners like that. And the half-paint projects? It’s definitely not just you. Ridiculous. In fact, I’d use a different word after the dash. A “half-a**ed job” is what I’d call those paintings!
