Willy Nilly Friday 5/2020 #2

1)
Current situation... Braden tore his ACL during football. He is currently in surgery to have it repaired. This was him while checking in. I figured working on my Willy Nilly will help calm my nerves...it's not really working haha...the surgery will take about 2 hours.

2)
Ozzy checking out Tuesday's snow...he's not impressed.

3)
Along Fayette St in Martinsville... Fayette Street has a rich African American history.

4)
One last Christmas tree...Explore Park

5)
A painting (along with a reflection) of an Appalachian Trail hiker on the window at Troutville Post Office symbolizing the many hikers we see each year.

Linking up with Tom's Willy Nilly Friday 5 and Weekend Reflections
and Weekend Roundup "B" for Braden, building and backpack....can you find anymore B's?

Have a great weekend!

*Update on Braden*
We are home now and he's resting! Surgery was a success! We go back and see his Dr on Monday to see how he's doing. He has about an 8 month recovery ahead of him!

  3. There are always some people who leave their trees up way past the time it should come down. We have some of the people here. :) I like the reflection photo, there's a lot to see. Hope the surgery goes well and there are no issues.

  5. I am sorry about Braden! Keep us posted about after the surgery. I think this is the most common football surgery. How long will his recovery be?

    1. It seems pretty common...his Dr actually operated on 2 other boys from his team just this season alone....not to mention seasons before! It's about an 8/9 month recovery process....right now for the next few days he won't be able to put any weight on it.

  6. Good luck to Braden - and patience! - in his recovery! It is a long time for a young man.

  7. Best wishes to Braden. I like the hiker painting. The trail passes close to Front Royal too and we see hikers in town.

  9. Hi Tanya, so glad to hear Braden's surgery went well, it will be a long year for him not being able to play football, but if it's anything like last year it'll fly buy 💙
