The Capitol Building

The Capitol Building looms in the distance. Here you can really get a feel for how cold and wet it was for those kids!

  1. She got this one? This is good. I went there once when I was younger (in my 20s), and didnt take any pictures.

  3. Oh, gosh, I really love DC! That's one place I would consider moving to, away from San Diego. Just gorgeous.

And, looks like the photographic talent runs strong in the family! :) Nice shot!

  5. Ashlyn is taking some great photos - excellent compositions. Hope they are having loads of fun despite the weather. My son goes on a school trip to DC & NYC during spring break.

  7. DC in the wet in December couldn't have been that much fun (at least outside). Pictures of the wet are usually better than being there! We have a trip there planned just after Christmas; I'll selfishly hope that our weather will be better than Ashlyn's.
