Friday was a dreary, cold and rainy kind of day. I had to run to WalMart to pick some things up and as I was leaving the parking lot, I got a good view of the mountain draped in clouds with the pretty trees blooming. I think I've mentioned before how much I love the way the clouds fall over the mountains here. The scene below is the intersection of 460 and Cloverdale.
I haven't done any blogging for a few days so am behind reading. I enjoyed all of your latest ones Tanya. What mountain is that? Poor Ashlyn and her homework. It's tough. - Dave
ReplyDeleteI had that same view yesterday on my way to Wal-Mart. Sorry I didn't bump into you... You could have taken a photo of my license plate. LOL

The Blue Ridge Gal
Ahh, how I love to see those trees in blossom.
ReplyDeleteGood view of no view. I like the photo...
ReplyDeleteDave, I'm not sure what the name of the mountain is but the Blue Ridge Parkway runs through them, I guess just the Blue Ridge Mtns? We're surrounded by these mountains and I don't know all the names yet!
ReplyDeleteBRG, I was just there again yesterday and I'm still looking for you....you know, we all need to get together for lunch one day!
Thanks Bratt and RH for stopping by :)
Sorry to hear you're having bad weather... Take a plain and come here, it looks like summer! :-)
ReplyDeleteThe trees do make a very beautiful scene here.
ReplyDeleteI like landscape shots focusing on beautiful hue
I would love to see a cold and dreary day then to see a cold and wintry day as it is this morning in my neck of the woods!
ReplyDeleteAn awesome photo!
Mountain Retreat Photos
Very interesting photo for today. We are experiencing sunshine. Our rainy weather mostly are monsoons in July and August. I am glad you enjoyed reading my profile about my ancestors coming over in covered wagons. Today is Arizona theme day so I have part of a covered wagon on my site and the Prescott Daily a website has a full covered wagon. Hard to believe people traveled like this. Such a tough road to get to Arizona. BTW, I am glad you are enjoying the Chihuly art on my website. I am going to continue to post more over time and intersperse the Chihuly eye candy with the desert, interesting cactus, resorts, special events and other photos.
ReplyDeleteThe blossoming trees are a sign of good things to come. I like that you can just barely make out the outline of the mountain.
ReplyDeleteYou noticed a very mystical image.
ReplyDeleteI love the darkness of the wet ground and trees contrasted with the blooms and the misty clouds! Neat shot!
