I wanted to incorporate this month's theme day with our current weather. Look what happened over night! I've shown you this view from my kithcen recently with no snow and now look! And I was so enjoying all that spring like weather...oh well, I guess winter is trying to hang on. We are supposed to get a little more today and tomorrow morning.

This is teffific, the touch of colour against an monochrome. Stiil, no snow here. A snowglobe in glass is all I'm going to get. Love he horse head bowed.
ReplyDeleteThe blue of the bottle looks really good against the snow and, yes, I noticed the horse too. I sound like B's echo, don't I? Sorry..
ReplyDeleteYou are just up the road from us. Wish snow had fallen on us last night. We're just experiencing icy rain. If you get a chance, stop by our daily photo site for a virtual visit to Greensboro!

I love the blue bottle. We got a small smattering of snow here too. The sun has melted it all away now, but it's still cold.
ReplyDeleteHappy theme day!
Very interesting I like the effect of the blue bottle near the window.
ReplyDeleteI adore blue bottles and this is a lovely one and just the right blue. Lovely horse amongst all that snow. Nice shot.
ReplyDeleteLovely blue! I would want to see your twins'eyes when they saw the snow! Good idea to have hung the bird house up to the tree just before the cold was back!
ReplyDeletethis is excellent. a poetic photo for theme day. nicely done
ReplyDeletePoor Bucky (that's the horse's name, right?) He looks as if he was hoping to be finished with winter, too. I echo everyone's comments. That blue is perfect.
ReplyDeleteThe blue against the cold background is really stunning. Again, love all the land you have!
ReplyDeleteNice one! I love the view, the horse and yes, the snow too!
ReplyDeleteLovely composition, it all works so well. It would have worked without the blue bottle too; but the bottle does reinforce the vertical of the tree in the background. I like this picture a lot!
ReplyDeleteThe blue color of the bottle against the grays and whites of the scene outside the window is just beautiful, Tanya. You surely live surrounded by beauty!
ReplyDeleteIt's gorgeous Tanya! I love the blue bottle against the snow in the background. The horse adds the perfect touch. It's cold again here too, but this morning I saw a hummingbird in my backyard so I know spring is lurking!
ReplyDeleteReally lovely. We both have window shots this day :))
ReplyDeleteIt's snowing at my house..... but I don't have a pretty blue bottle to set in my window... :-(

That's a fun shot! We had snow in Georgia today, too!
ReplyDeleteLove the blue glass and love, love, love the horsey view!!
ReplyDeleteWe got snow too, yesterday - I think about 3-4 inches, which is more than we normally get! It's melting fast though! YaY!
ReplyDeleteIt's a beautiful shade of blue against a somber background.
ReplyDeleteThat blue color is marvellous. I agree with Babooshka on how the blue stands out from the B&W scene. Hope you'll get to enjoy the bit of snow.
ReplyDeletelove the composition!
ReplyDeleteHow much snow did y'all end up getting?
ReplyDeleteLove the contrast of the gorgeous blue with the gray background. Very clever!
