Barn Charm Tuesday

This "barn" sits on the corner of Roanoke Road and Catawba in Daleville. When we first moved here in 2008 I was so excited to see this antique store housed in a barn, until I turned the corner and realized it was closed and hadn't been open in quite some time. I think when I first saw it the word "antique" was a little more visible than now. I would love for someone to buy this and fix it all up and re-open again as an antique/prims shop...although it does look like it needs quite a bit of fixing up.

Linking up with Tricia and Barn Charm :)

  5. I pass it often too, Tanya, and would love if someone would save it from it's demise. I bet it was an awesome antique store at one time.

  7. Yes, it does look like it needs lots of work. That's what makes all your barns look so amazing. Imagine a brand new barn - not so interesting!

  12. I never thought about a barn for an antique shop, but would make a wonderful one. Wish you had got to see it before it closed.

  15. Nice barn, and its a pity that it was left to fall apart .... in Northern VA off of 28 there are also great looking barns peppered all over the place. I do love photos like these... great catch.
